About Me

Owner and founder of PBS Accounting and Tax Solutions, Samantha Hallburn began her career 20 years ago in the sales, marketing and PR segments of the wireless industry and over time became operations manager where she was responsible for managing the company’s finances as well as job costing and project management. From there she went into banking and lending which led her into the financial services path. She worked in business to business segments which introduced her to small business owners from all industries. It quickly became apparent that there was a missing link for almost all the businesses she was helping which was they all had trouble with managing their finances and struggled with knowing exactly where their business stood. Samantha started helping businesses further by teaching them about bookkeeping and eventually was hired by several businesses to do their books for them. In 2015 she decided to leave corporate America and start her own bookkeeping firm and focus her attention on helping small business owners. Things quickly evolved as she became increasingly aware of the demand for bookkeeping for small businesses and therefore made it her goal to be able to provide a wide range of services to support small business owners at affordable prices.

In 2016 Samantha became a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and has been teaching QuickBooks to accounting professionals and small business owners and their employees since 2018. She loves helping small businesses create workflows and streamline their operations as well as helping them take the weight of accounting off their shoulders.

PBS Accounting and Tax Solutions is a Location Independent firm and since 2015 has expanded from California into Oregon, Montana, Utah, and Texas with plans to one day be in all 50 states. PBS Accounting and Tax supports businesses from a wide array of industries and specializes in helping find solutions both within QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online as well as third party applications designed to help streamline workflows, save time and money and make record keeping much easier.
